Step one
First we clean it, with dry ice.
Dry ice blasting is a non-damaging way to clean metal and painted surfaces. We blast tiny dry ice pellets at the surface, and they instantly freeze the gunk, dirt, oil, rust, oxidization, and road salt, and lift it right off.
The old way, sandblasting, is rough. It throws sand at your vehicle and can chew up and texture the metal underneath. Dry ice doesn’t. It cleans without touching the surface itself, so nothing gets damaged. Most shops don’t have this. We invested in it because a coating is only as good as the surface underneath.

Step two
Then we seal it.
Once the underside is clean, we lock it in with a rust proof coating. It seals out the moisture, salt, and calcium chloride that cause rust in the first place, and gets into the seams and spots where rust likes to start. It’s a way to clean metal and other surfaces using dry ice pellets. The pellets freeze dirt, oil, rust, and road salt and lift them off without touching or damaging the surface underneath. It’s cleaner and gentler than sandblasting, which can rough up the metal.
Most shops spray a coating over whatever’s already under your vehicle, dirt and all. We clean the surface down first with dry ice blasting, then seal it. A coating only works as well as the surface it goes on, so cleaning first makes it last.
Plan on a fresh coat every two to three years to stay protected. Fall is the best time, so you’re sealed up before winter road salt hits.
